Dennis Prager at Oxford

Hat tip Vlad Tepes

Radio talk host Dennis Prager was invited to Oxford to participate in a  debate on the question of whether Hamas or Israel was the greater  threat to peace.

(Even he knows the answer to that one.)

This is worth a look. Prager is so eloquent, and he really takes Oxford to task. Then a young woman gets up and acting like she is giving the what-for to the prime minister in the House of Commons, throws what she thinks is a hardball to Prager, which he knocks out of the park.

Well done, Mr. Prager.

Prager is a formidable speaker. If I were to choose which side to argue, he's on the side I would argue for. If assigned to debate for the opposing point of view, he's left some good opportunities. His facile axiom that all wars are between freedom loving nations and police states or between two police states is dubious, and while he's right about Syria and possibly Egypt, I doubt whether Hezbollah would exist without Israeli intervention in Lebanon. But the lady posing the question stuck her foot in her mouth. I don't know young lady, why IS IT that all the organizations engaged in terrorism in the middle east and north Africa are Arab and/or Muslim in character? (I could answer that too, but she set herself up.)
