Hussam Ayloush Takes Down Tweet, Apologizes

" Russian plane crash, eh? That must have been a TU-154 with a maximum passenger capacity of 180."

CAIR's SoCal leader Hussam Ayloush is digging himself deeper into that hole when he sent out a tweet celebrating the crash of a Russian plane carrying a musical troupe and killing all 92 aboard.

"I'm sad about the crashed Russian military jet. The TU-154 could have carried up to 180 military personnel instead of just 92!"

Now, in the wake of criticism, Ayloush has taken down his tweet and issued an apology of sorts.

“I sent it out when I was filling gas on my road trip with my family,” he said Tuesday. “All I saw was a Russian military plane went down before it made it to Syria."

That's pretty impressive. This man must be either a great multi-tasker or a walking encyclopedia. Imagine hearing the news while filling up your tank and sending out a tweet that rattled off the kind of plane involved and its capacity. Even if you believe his claim that the initial report he heard said nothing about the civilian nature of the casualties, I seriously doubt that it gave the type of plane and its maximum passenger capacity.

If Ayloush truly believes all life is scared as he expressed in his Facebook apology, why does his organization support Hamas, a terror organization responsible for the deaths of many innocent Israeli civilians? Why does he consort with people like Yusuf al Qaradawi, the spiritual  leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, who has supported the killing of Israelis and expressed his wish to die fighting in battle against the infidels? Has Ayloush forgotten when he spoke at a protest in front of the Israeli consulate in Los Angeles in October 2000 while members of the UCLA Muslim Students Association were reportedly chanting, "Death to Israel-Death to Jews"?

If Ayloush believes all life is sacred, why would he help sponsor a US speaking tour in 2014 by Syrian imam Mohammed Rateb al-Nabulsi, who advocates the killing of Jews?

Hussam Ayloush has a long history of bad associations, bad statements, and bad lies trying to cover them all up.
