Let the Presbyterian Church USA Be Known by the Friends it Keeps

Hat tip Frontpage Magazine

Ryan Mauro writing in Frontpage Magazine points out that an anti-Zionist pamphlet put out by the Presbyterian Church USA has drawn  fulsome praise from none other than David Duke and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

I should say that I have no ax to grind against those of the Presbyterian faith. I don't even know what sets Presbyterians off from Methodists or other Protestant denominations. But I say to you American Presbyterian readers that you need to do some serious checking into what the leadership of your church in this country is up to.

Unless, of course, you are anti-Jewish yourself.

Spare me the axiom that it is not anti-Semitic to be anti-Zionist. The sheer activism against Israel on the part of the Presbyterian Church USA is too obvious, too blatant to conclude other than that the leadership of this church is anti-Jewish.

David Duke? You mean there are still some conservatives who hate Jews? It used to be traditional.

Of course to be Zionist is not ipso facto anti-Semitic. On the other hand, to be anti-Zionist is not ipso facto evidence that one is NOT anti-Semitic.

Methodists are Presbyterians with bishops. And they kneel up front for communion, instead of passing trays around sitting in the pews. I should know, I've tried both.
