Sean Hannity and Keith Ellison

Hat tip Daily Caller

Representative Keith Ellison (D-MN) has discovered the secret of not having to answer direct questions. He just keeps talking over the question and insulting his host. Watch here as the obnoxious congressman from al Shabab goes up against Sean Hannity.

Ellison is emblematic of why our country is falling apart. He is only in Congress because his constituency in Minneapolis consists of the very folks who are turning the city into a crime-infested hellhole (Somalis). This is the guy who called for Somalis in Minnesota who ran back to join the al Shabab jihad in Somalia to be allowed to return home and be given a second chance. He is a race-baiter who in 2007 dressed down a black prosecutor in Louisiana implying he was an Uncle Tom for not prosecuting some kids for a racially-tinged schoolyard stunt in which nooses who hung from a tree.

If Mr Ellison is so against "yellow journalism" and "shilling" for a particular party, why does he appear frequently on MSNBC?

This is the Muslim who was elected to office and chose to be sworn in using the Koran. I love it when the Muslims insist they know better than us what American values are.
They use our freedoms to undermine us.

Miggie, why would you have a problem with him swearing in on the Koran? Would you expect a Jew to swear on a Bible that includes the New Testament? I wouldn't.

Ellison represents a district that is majority Christian, and has more Jews than Muslims.

Getting back to Ellison. I saw the piece that is referenced here. Ellison was out of control and incoherent. He made statements that he could not back up or answer when questioned. Now think, this is the leadership of our country? No matter what heaven one ascribes to, the higher authority needs to help us.

Earth to Gary... your video link is to Hannity giving an example of "objective" journalism worse than MSNBC, casually blaming President Obama for going to the people instead of getting into a smoke filled room with the likes of John Boehner. What about Ellison?

As to the book used when administering the oath of office... the point is that the believer should feel an intense fear of God should they be lying when they take the oath... so like Jakes intimated, you'd want a Muslim taking the oath on a Koran, not on a Bible. And you'd want a Jew taking the oath on a Torah, or a Mezzuzah.

@ Jakes,

I do not have a problem with Ellison being sworn in using a Koran, but I do have a big concern for his being a respresentative for the Nation of Islam, which is an anti-Semitic, Jew hating organization. (http://www.wnd.com/2013/02/muslim-congressman-was-farrakhan-spokesman/)

Siarlys,

I don't recall saying anything about Ellison taking the oath on a Koran. As to the video, Ellison began insulting Hannity as soon as he opened his mouth.

Siarlys Jenkins said...

Not the video that played last time I clicked. Ellison wasn't even there.

And, you teach English composition... do you include the function of "editing"? Whose blog is this? Did you read Miggie complaining about Ellison choosing to be sworn in on the Koran? You didn't say it. Squid doesn't have a problem with it. But a comment you approved and posted says Miggie has a problem with it. Are you trying to stimulate discussion, or just take comments on your own work?

Siarlys,

I am referring to the debate between hannity and Ellison. That was the focus of the post in the first place. I have no position on the oath on the KOran issue. Why are u trying to complicate the issue?

The Jakes said...

This is turning into an Abbot and Costello routine. Miggie brought up the Koran thing. If anybody's "confusing the issue" it's him. Siarlys was just responding to him, as did myself - and even Squid later joined the conversation. Check the whole thread, Gary; you'll see what I mean.
