Iranian Protesters Stop Hanging

(Viewer warning; this video contains graphic images.)
(Video from Gateway Pundit and American Thinker. Photo by Doug Ross.)

If you want to see a bit of heroism, watch as these Iranian protesters come to the rescue of two student activists in the process of being hanged by the government.
In addition, in protests around the country on Sunday, between 5-9 protesters have been killed according to which source you believe.

You should note that I have a link to an Iranian blog (Revolutionary Road), run by an Iranian dissident. Over the past several months, this blog has reported on the protests in Iran with photos and videos. It appears that the Iranian government has now succeeded in shutting down this blog as you will see if you try to access it. My prayers go out for the safety of the blogger.

My question is this; are you watching, President Obama? Why are you so silent about what is going on in Iran? And a note to John Kerry; follow the request of the protesters and stay home. Your visit to Iran will be seen as an act of weakness.

Gary, just what would you want anyone to do about Iran? What should Obama say? Why shouldn't Kerry go? Nothing will make any difference. Follow their history.
Do you even know how those people think? They are one of the most confusing and confused people in the world.
As the Iranian secretary of my husband told him after he said he would never understand them: "How could you? We don't understand ourselves." We were living in Teheran at that time.
Maybe you know the secret how to deal with them.

Ingrid,

I have believed ever since 1979 that there is only one way to deal with this government. Eventually, that is the way it will have to be.

Bring the Shah back, that's what I would do.
